New Delhi: At a function organised by the Indian CSR One Decade Celebration Committee, Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presented the CSR Excellence Awards to the heads of various corporates and public sector organisations for their work under CSR on 27 July.
The function was held in Mumbai, and the awards were presented by the Governor to the Chairman of Godrej Industries Group Nadir Godrej and CSR Head of Coal India Ltd Renu Chaturvedi.
Other dignitaries who were present on the occasion included the Chairman of Ajanta Pharma, GAIL, Hindustan Lever, ITC, LIC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Navneet Education, NTPC, Petronet Vikas, Power Finance Corporation, SBI, and others.
Governor Bais presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee for his work in the field of CSR. The Governor also released the Cover Page of the Vision Document titled ‘Bharatiya CSR Ke Dus Saal: Agle Dus Saal Bemisal’.
