Lt. Gen. Shankar Narayan takes position of commandant of the Army Hospital (Research & Referral) in Delhi

New Delhi: Lt. Gen. Shankar Narayan, an alumnus of the 1982 class of the Armed Forces Medical College, has assumed the position of commandant of the Army Hospital (Research & Referral), a PIB press release stated.

After taking over the hospital, his first priority will be to improve the quality of patient care by leveraging the advantages of the modern setting.

Lt. Gen. Narayan said he plans to focus on research and high-quality training.

He expressed gratitude to his predecessors and seniors for ensuring the hospital’s current position. He also expressed confidence that the excellent team at the hospital will continue to perform at the highest standards.
