Jaipur, Jan 11 (PTI) Parts of Rajasthan received light rainfall on Saturday under the influence of a western disturbance, the meteorological centre here said.
Dense fog enveloped large parts of the state in the morning. Fatehpur (Sikar) was the coldest place in the state with a minimum temperature of 6.8 degrees Celsius, it said.
In the last 24 hours which ended at 8.30 am, Phalodi recorded the highest rainfall at 2.8 mm, the meteorological centre said.
Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Alwar, Ajmer and Bikaner districts and Jaipur also received rain.
More rain is likely in parts of the state during the day. There is also a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some parts of Bikaner, Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions, the weather office said.
From January 12, the weather is likely to remain dry and dense fog is likely at some places, it said. PTI SDA DIV DIV
