New Delhi: A vastu expert from Karnataka was allegedly stabbed by two unidentified men in the lobby of a Hubballi hotel Tuesday.

The man, Chandrashekhar Angadi, who popularly went by the name Chandrashekhar Guruji, was killed in full view at the President Hotel. His body has been taken to the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences.

Hubballi police commissioner Labhu Ram said the accused called the ‘saral vastu’ exponent to the hotel lobby. One of the two then wished him and suddenly thrust a knife into him. “He was grievously wounded and died on the way to the hospital,” the top officer said.

The men fled the scene within a minute of the attack which was filmed on CCTV camera. They could be seen threatening staff members who tried to approach the scene of the murder.

The police have registered a case and were looking for the accused.

Angadi, who lived in Bagalkote, was on a personal visit to Hubballi, reports said.
