Jaipur, Apr 2 (PTI) The regional passport office here on Thursday received a bomb threat via email, with authorities saying nothing suspicious was found after thorough searches, police said.

Police stepped up security and launched a thorough search operation after receiving information. However, no suspicious object or explosive material was found during the check, they said.

Similar threats have been issued for multiple places and offices, including courts, schools, Passport Seva Kendra and post offices in the past, police said.

However, all threats turned out to be hoaxes, they said. PTI SDA APL APL
