Jammu, Apr 28 (PTI) The Udhampur administration on Tuesday demolished an illegally constructed house of a drug peddler as part of an ongoing crackdown on narcotics networks, police said.
The property of the accused, Rafiq, was demolished by police in coordination with the district administration at Jojrian Talab area here, they said.
The officials said the immovable property, a house built on state government land, had earlier been attached under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in connection with a case registered at Udhampur police station in 2025.
The police said the action was part of sustained efforts to curb drug trafficking and target properties acquired or constructed through illegal means linked to narcotics activities. PTI AB APL APL
