Jammu, Apr 21 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday told legislators that concerns pertaining to their constituencies will be examined on priority and appropriate action for their early redressal will be taken.
Several legislators and a few deputations today called on the chief minister and raised various issues pertaining to their respective areas, officials said.
The MLAs — Nazir Ahmed Khan, Surjit Singh Slathia, Qayser Jamshed Lone and Rameshwar Singh — met Abdullah and highlighted a range of constituency-specific concerns.
A deputation representing private power companies also called on the chief minister and discussed issues related to new independent power producers in Jammu and Kashmir, they added.
Meanwhile, a deputation from the Chishoti–Paddar area of Kishtwar district apprised Abdullah of issues arising from the cloudburst in the Chishoti area, including the rehabilitation of affected families.
The chief minister gave a patient hearing to all the deputations and assured them that their genuine concerns would be examined on priority and appropriate action taken for their early redressal, they said. PTI AB PRK
