A campaign to promote India as a destination for summer travel was launched at the Arabian Travel Mart 2024 in Dubai, a press statement by the Union Ministry of Tourism said.
The campaign, ‘Cool Summers of India’, aims to highlight lesser-known destinations and strengthen India’s presence in the Middle East tourism market. Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India to Dubai, launched the campaign.
To attract visitors to experience the different destinations of India, a pavilion has been set up at the Dubai mart. The tourism ministry is participating in the mart to showcase the country’s offerings to potential visitors from the MENA region.
The participation of the Indian government in the mart is expected to boost the country’s tourism industry and strengthen the country’s economy. The event will provide a platform for Indian tour operators, luxury hotels, wellness resorts, and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation to showcase their offerings to potential visitors.
