Except for Najibabad, which recorded a maximum temperature of 39.2 degrees Celsius, other parts of the state experienced maximum temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius or higher.
Banda was the hottest location in the state, with temperatures reaching 47.4 degrees Celsius, 6.2 degrees above normal. This was followed by Prayagraj at 45.5 degrees Celsius, Varanasi at 45 degrees Celsius, and Jhansi at 44.8 degrees Celsius.
