Gurugram, Apr 21 (PTI) Haryana will hold a Cabinet meeting in Gurugram on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, marking the first time the district will host such a meeting, officials said. The meeting, scheduled at 9 am at the Public Works Department premises, is expected to take up around 11 key proposals, according to an official statement. Ahead of the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh reviewed preparations with departmental officers and issued directions to ensure its smooth conduct.
He directed officials to put in place adequate security arrangements, a comprehensive traffic plan to avoid inconvenience to the public and necessary healthcare facilities at the venue. Calling it a significant occasion for the district, Singh stressed that arrangements should be maintained at the highest standards with proper coordination. “Gurugram is recognised worldwide. It offers all kinds of amenities. Keeping this in mind, the Cabinet meeting has been scheduled here.
