The meeting was attended by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli and the party’s state in-charge Satish Poonia, among others.

During the meeting, which lasted for nearly two hours, discussions were also held regarding the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ (Women’s Reservation Act) and other party initiatives that have recently concluded or are scheduled to take place in the coming days.

The main contest in these elections is expected to be between the BJP and the Congress.

During the party meeting, Chief Minister Saini also engaged in a detailed discussion regarding the state government’s policies, while Badoli talked about organisational matters.

Later, Saini told reporters that resolutions in support of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam will be drafted by panchayats, municipalities and municipal corporations.

Saini also extended his greetings on the birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

Badoli mentioned that a strategy has been formulated for the civic elections. He said specific duties have been assigned to ministers and party office-bearers for these elections.
