Lucknow, Jun 22 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said Firozabad and Aligarh would witness a new chapter of development and empowerment with the inauguration and foundation laying of various projects.
In a post on X, Adityanath said projects worth more than Rs 658 crore in Firozabad and Rs 462 crore in Aligarh would be launched during his visit to the two districts later in the day.
“Firozabad, the glass city, and Aligarh, the lock city, will today witness a new chapter of development and empowerment,” the chief minister said.
He said 81 development projects in Firozabad and 85 in Aligarh would be inaugurated or have their foundation stones laid.
Adityanath said beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) would be handed over house keys, while beneficiaries of various government schemes would receive certificates, cheques and equipment.
“Development projects and smiles on the faces of beneficiaries — this is the identity of the new Uttar Pradesh,” he said. PTI KIS AMJ AMJ
