New Delhi, Apr 25 (PTI) A fire broke out in a four-storey building in Rohini’s Sector 24 area here, with all occupants managing to evacuate safely, officials said.
The incident was reported from Pocket 20 of Sector 24 at 8.54 pm on Friday, according to the Delhi Fire Services.
Six fire tenders were rushed to the spot after the alert was received, and firefighters brought the blaze under control by around 11 pm, officials said.
No one was injured in the incident, they said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Preliminary inputs suggest it may have been triggered by a short circuit, while there were also initial claims of a possible gas pipeline burst. PTI SGV VN VN
