Bhubaneswar, Mar 12 (PTI) A fire broke out at a railway workshop in Bhubaneswar on Thursday evening, officials said.

The blaze erupted in the scrap deposit line area of the coaching depot at Mancheswar railway workshop around 8.30 pm, they said.

The fire was promptly controlled with the help of internal available resources at the workshop, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) said in a statement.

“The situation was brought under control quickly and effectively. There has been no damage to any railway property, infrastructure, or rolling stock, and no injury to any person has been reported,” it said. PTI BBM RBT
