New Delhi, Jul 22 (PTI) A fire broke out at a helmet manufacturing factory in outer Delhi’s Bawana area on Wednesday morning, an official of the Delhi Fire Service said.
The blaze engulfed the factory in Pooth Khurd area, with initial reports suggesting that a man may be trapped inside, he said.
Several fire tenders and Delhi Police personnel rushed to the spot after receiving a call around 9.50 am.
Fire officials later upgraded the operation and demanded more engines to douse the flames. Firefighting and rescue operations were underway, while the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained. PTI BM RT RT
