Three of the top ten are women. Rajeshwari Suve M. has got second rank, Zinnia Aurora has been ranked sixth and Astha Jain is at tenth place.
Usually, the UPSC announces the final result about two weeks before the preliminary examination of the following year. Many candidates have complained about this timing, saying that those who fail to clear the exam and have to appear for the prelims again do not get enough time to prepare. This year the 2025 results have been declared 11 weeks ahead of the 2026 preliminaries.
