The Animal Husbandry Statistics Division under the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD) Friday organised an orientation workshop at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The workshop was aimed at instructing newly engaged National Level Monitors (NLM) on how to keep track of key departmental programmes.
Inaugurated by Secretary Alka Upadhyay, the workshop focused on the National Livestock Mission, the Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme, the Rashtriya Gokul Mission and the National Program for Dairy Development.
The speakers, including the Joint Secretary, DAHD, Dr. OP Choudhary, and the Advisor (Statistics), DAHD, Jagat Hazarika, presented a comprehensive overview of the programmes and their goals.

Their feedback will be taken into consideration in order to enhance the department’s programme delivery and ensure the efficient utilization of public funds
