Pune: The Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM) will host over 29 and 30 November its flagship digital and telecom seminar “Communiqué”—a platform for industry leaders to share insights and expertise with students.
Situated in Lavale, on the outskirts of Pune, SIDTM is part of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and ranks fourth in the country for “Best Digital Education Innovation” in EducationWorld Grand Jury India Higher Education Rankings 2024-2025.
Guided by Director Dr C.A. Abhijit Chirputkar, SIDTM has become a stepping stone for future techno-managers.
Communiqué’ will feature discussions on the latest trends in information and communication technology and digital domains with industry leaders, and focus on the latest advancements, strategies, and the future of technology.
This year’s theme, “The Digital Metamorphosis: Ensuring a Secure Future”, delves into the evolving digital landscape, emphasising the need for robust cybersecurity measures, innovative solutions, and sustainable practices to navigate the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
Communiqué brings together a dynamic panel to explore key industry topics, including cyber resilience, convergence of technology and creativity in marketing, and the crucial role of tech and cybersecurity in driving the future of the finance industry.
Seventeen panellists, along with two keynote speakers from diverse sectors and companies such as Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Volvo, Asian Paints, Mastercard, Dell, ZS Associates, and more, will share their ideas, offering the audience valuable insights and a deeper understanding of these industry themes.
The event will also showcase the launch of two of SIDTM’s annual journals—Prévision’25 and Telecom Business Review (TBR).
Prévision, SIDTM’s annual telecom forecast report, was launched in 2003 with the intent of offering the industry an objective and insightful outlook on current and emerging trends in the digital and telecom sector for the year ahead.
TBR, a peer-reviewed journal launched in 2008, will also be presented. Indexed in ProQuest, i-Scholar, and EBSCO databases, TBR serves as a key annual publication that promotes research across the fields of telecom, IT, and business.
This two-day event promises to celebrate knowledge, networking, and growth to transform and inspire students and professionals.
