Nagpur, May 7 (PTI) The Nagpur division of Central Railway has achieved record ticket checking earnings of Rs 3.91 crore in April, an official said on Thursday.
This is an 81 per cent rise when compared to the corresponding month last year, a CR release said.
“The achievement reflects the dedicated and coordinated efforts of the entire ticket checking staff and supporting teams. It was made possible through the contribution of Flying Squad, Amenity Squad, and Station Squad/Sports Squad, with many staff members individually achieving earnings exceeding Rs 3 lakh,” it said.
The release cited that head ticket examiner Alok Jha achieved an impressive collection of Rs 9.61 lakh from 1,364 passengers, maintaining an average realization of approximately Rs 36,960 per day from around 52 passengers per day during April. PTI CLS BNM
