Jammu, Apr 14 (PTI) A motorcycle collided with a truck near Jammu here on Tuesday, killing a couple and injuring their 12-year-old son, officials said.
Bal Krishan (45) and his wife Anita (40), natives of Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur, along with their son were travelling on a motorcycle when they were hit by a truck at the Gangyal bypass, the officials said.
They said the couple, who were living in a rented accommodation at Model Town, Gangyal, died on the spot, and their bodies were shifted to Government Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
The couple’s son was rescued and is undergoing treatment at the hospital, they said. PTI TAS NB
