New Delhi, Apr 25 (PTI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday accused the BJP of using “fake” pictures from the internet and projecting them as the residence of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.

“The pictures are completely fake, downloaded from the internet. The BJP is running on lies and scams,” AAP Chief Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said.

She alleged that the BJP has been spreading misinformation since Saturday morning and trying to project the pictures as those of Kejriwal’s residence, which is a complete lie.

“This is just a conspiracy, BJP leader and MP Bansuri Swaraj has been spreading these lies,” Kakkar added.

Kakkar stated that the AAP had challenged the BJP to show Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence.

“BJP got scared, they put up barricades around the house, and we challenged them. They are scared because AAP has entered Modi’s home state of Gujarat; they are afraid of this. AAP will throw them out of Gujarat,” the AAP spokesperson added.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday cornered AAP national convener Kejriwal over the new bungalow allotted to him at Lodhi Estate here, dubbing it as “Sheesh Mahal 2” and alleging expenditure of private money to build amenities in it. “As is evident from these images, these are not the tastes of an ‘aam aadmi’ but of a very elite person,” she claimed while showing a PPT during the press conference. She also disclosed the name of a private firm, which she claimed is providing the furniture. PTI SSM MPL MPL
