New Delhi: Coal India’s second-largest subsidiary, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), has made notable strides in its digital transformation under the Special Campaign 4.0, a PIB release stated. The company has implemented a series of digital initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, improving collaboration, and promoting a culture of learning and innovation.

One of the key initiatives is the SECL CMD Dashboard, a centralized platform that provides real-time visibility into tasks and projects across the company’s headquarters and operational areas. The dashboard allows users to track requests, monitor progress, and collaborate across departments, enhancing transparency and efficiency.

SECL has also digitized its land acquisition process with the Land Acquisition Management System (LAMS). This system simplifies and expedites the process, as exemplified by the village of Khodri, which became one of the first to complete a fully digital land acquisition using LAMS.

Furthering its commitment to employee development, SECL has launched the Abhimanyu E-learning Platform, building upon the success of its Abhimanyu E-magazine. This platform offers employees online access to learning resources, facilitating knowledge sharing and skill development.

SECL has developed several in-house web applications to support its digital transformation. These include a CSR app for tracking corporate social responsibility initiatives, a Chirayu app for streamlining medical referrals, and a Vidhik app for managing legal matters. These tailored solutions reflect SECL’s dedication to leveraging digital technology to meet the specific needs of its workforce and operations.
