New Delhi: The sixth edition of Charcha, organised by the SPARK Forum, will be held from November 12 to 14, 2025, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Known as India’s largest gathering on livelihoods, the event will bring together leaders from government, business, and civil society to discuss ideas for improving livelihoods across the country.
It will feature over 120 speakers, 20 co-hosts, and 50 hours of programming. Co-hosts include Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Atal Innovation Mission, Meta, LinkedIn, The Gates Foundation, DBS Foundation, The/Nudge Institute, and others.
This year’s sessions will cover seven main themes: technology and data for impact, agriculture and rural livelihoods, policy and capacity building, skills and employment, inclusion and sustainability, capital and philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship.
Jerold Pereira, Managing Director at SPARK Forum, said Charcha aims to bring together different sectors to work on shared development goals.
Kumaresh Pattabiraman, India Country Manager at LinkedIn, said growth in smaller cities will play a key role in shaping India’s workforce in the coming decade.
Speakers include Amitabh Kant (Former G20 Sherpa), Debjani Ghosh (NITI Aayog), Dr Shamika Ravi (Economic Advisory Council to the PM), Jessica Jensen (LinkedIn), Sandhya Devanathan (Meta), and Rakesh Bharti Mittal (Bharti Enterprises), among others.
Since 2020, Charcha has engaged over 1,000 leaders and 15,000 participants, reaching more than 1.5 million people. The 2025 edition will continue its focus on livelihoods, inclusion, and partnerships for India’s growth.
