Lucknow, Apr 14 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday paid his tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, hailing him as the founder of an inclusive society and a guiding light.
In a post on X in Hindi, Adityanath said, “Humble tribute on the birth anniversary of ‘Bharat Ratna’ Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, who laid the foundation stone of a harmonious and inclusive society, illuminated by the high ideals of equality, justice and fraternity.” He called him an “invaluable gem of Mother India” and his life inspiring.
The Samajwadi Party on X hailed Ambedkar as an architect of the Indian Constitution.
“Respectful tributes to the pioneer of social justice and architect of the Indian Constitution, ‘Bharat Ratna’ Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary,” the party said.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said Ambedkar was a pioneer of social justice.
He said Ambedkar laid the “unbreakable foundation” of equality, justice and human dignity by making education a powerful medium of change and providing rights to the deprived, workers and farmers.
“His life of struggle even today illuminates the path of duty, dedication and service to the nation,” Maurya said.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on X paid his tributes to the “pioneer of social harmony.” The UP unit of the Congress in a post on X in Hindi commemorated him for his lifelong championing of education as a tool of change.
