New Delhi, Jul 22 (PTI) A 17-year-old boy who went missing from his home after leaving a ‘suicide note’ was reunited with his family at a Delhi Metro station with the help of CISF personnel, officials said on Wednesday.
The incident was reported Tuesday night around 10 PM at the Punjabi Bagh West station located in west Delhi.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) control room was informed by the Cyber Cell of the Delhi Police that the boy aged 17 left his home after writing a note, officials said.
Inputs suggested that the child could be present around the said Metro station and hence CISF personnel mounted a search and traced him at Gate no 1 of the station, they said, adding that he was subsequently handed over to his family.
The CISF provides an anti-terrorist security cover to about 250 stations of the Delhi Metro in the national capital region. PTI NES SHS
