Bengaluru, Jul 20 (PTI) Midwest Energy, the technology and clean energy arm of the Midwest Business House, on Monday announced the start of commercial production at its 1.2 GWh Battery Energy Storage System manufacturing facility here.
The facility has integrated cell-to-container manufacturing capabilities, enabling the production of battery modules, trays, racks and fully integrated containerised systems for commercial, industrial, renewable energy and utility-scale applications, the company said in a statement.
According to the company, the commissioning of the facility marks a significant milestone in Midwest Energy’s expansion as battery storage becomes an increasingly essential component of modern power infrastructure.
With renewable energy deployment accelerating and grid flexibility becoming increasingly important, Battery Energy Storage Systems are expected to play a key role in ensuring reliable power supply, facilitating renewable energy integration and enhancing energy resilience, it said.
