New Delhi: Under the Pharmacovigilance program till date a total of 38539 misleading advertisements related to Ayush drugs has been reported. As per the information received from various State/UTs governments, no such complaint has been received against sale of Ayush products in the market without any authentic clinical trial.  This information was given by the minister of state for Ayush Prataprao Jadhav in a written reply to a question sent by the state government, PIB press release stated.

The department of information and broadcasting (MOIB) has jurisdiction over the regulation of advertisements on television. Therefore, the cases of misleading advertisements related to Ayush drugs are forwarded to MOIB for action.
