New Delhi: One CRPF personnel was killed and another injured on Monday in a terrorist attack in Maisuma Srinagar, hours after the ultras targetted two non-local workers in Pulwama.
The jawans were wounded after terrorists opened fire at a join check point of security forces. They were taken to the SMHS Hospital where one of them succumbed to injuries.
Terrorists have stepped up attack on non-locals in the Kashmir Valley, carrying out two strikes in successive days.
On Monday, Patleshwar Kumar and Jako Choudhury, from Bihar were injured in terrorist fire in Lajoora, Pulwama.
Two labourers from Punjab – Dheeraj Dutt and Surinder Singh, were shot on Sunday in Nowpara, also in Pulwama.
The workers are being treated for their wounds.
Three days ago, a Lashkar terrorist was shot dead in the Shopian district.
