New Delhi: South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and First Lady Kim Hea Kyung are currently in India on a three-day state visit. This is Lee’s first visit to India as president, and he’s accompanied by a high-level delegation, including South Korean ministers and business leaders.
Lee and his wife were accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital Monday. President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were present for the ceremony.
President Lee and First Lady Kim also visited Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
PM Modi also held a bilateral meeting with the South Korean leader at Hyderabad House Monday to discuss advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
