Palakkad (Kerala) [India], October 24: Director Lokesh Kanagaraj on Tuesday suffered a minor injury amid the crowd during the promotions of his recently released action film ‘Leo’ at the Aroma Theatre in Palakkad, Kerala.

A large number of people were gathered outside the theatre to see him in Palakkad.

Due to the injury, the director had to cancel his other two fan events in the state.

Kanagaraj shared the update on his X account and wrote, “Thank you Kerala for your love.. Overwhelmed, happy and grateful to see you all in Palakkad. Due to a small injury in the crowd, I couldn’t make it to the other two venues and the press meeting. I would certainly come back to meet you all in Kerala again soon. Till then continue enjoying #Leo with the same love.”

Meanwhile, talking about ‘Leo’ the film starred Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt Trisha Krishnan and Arjun Sarja. ‘Leo’ marks a reunion between Vijay and Kanagaraj after the 2021 blockbuster ‘Master’.

Recently, superstar Rajinikanth also talked about ‘Thalapathi’ Vijay and Sanjay Dutt’s film ‘Leo’ and said, “I pray to God, that movie should become a huge hit.”

In order to make the release a grand affair, Seven Screen Studios Production had filed a petition before the Madras High Court requesting to allow the film to be screened as early as 4 am across cinema halls in Tamil Nadu on the day of its release. However, the court refrained from passing orders.

The film has received massive responses from the fans. (ANI)
