New Delhi: The much-awaited sequel to De De Pyaar De has finally been announced. Titled De De Pyaar De 2, the film is set to hit theatres on 14 November 2025.

Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh will reprise their roles in the sequel, which also welcomes R Madhavan to the cast.

However, Tabu, who was a pivotal part of the original, will not be returning for this instalment.

While the first film was directed by Akiv Ali, the sequel will be helmed by Anshul Sharma, with a screenplay co-written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain.

The filming spans across Mumbai, London, and Punjab.

De De Pyaar De 2 is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg.

Made on a budget of Rs 50 crore, the first instalment was a hit at the box office. The film collected Rs 103.64 crore.

De De Pyaar De revolved around Ashish, a middle-aged man who falls for Ayesha, a woman almost half his age. The romantic comedy explored the hilarity and drama that ensued when Ashish introduced Ayesha to his ex-wife and children.

While the first film ended on a happy note, it hinted at complications when Ayesha confessed her worries about how her family would react to their relationship.

De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to pick up where the first story left off, bringing new twists and surprises for the audience.
