Potential tropical cyclone Fifteen expected to strengthen at faster pace – NHC

(Reuters) – Potential tropical cyclone Fifteen could be near hurricane strength by Tuesday night or Wednesday, and a faster rate of strengthening is expected starting tonight, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in its latest advisory on Monday.

The system is located about 480 miles (770 km) east-southeast of Grand Cayman, packing maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour (65 km/h), the NHC said.
