New Delhi, Apr 21 (PTI) Clean energy producer Resolven on Tuesday said it has signed an agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply electricity from a 180-MW wind energy project, which will be developed by its arm Ganeko Three Energy.
The pact has been secured at a tariff of Rs 3.68 per unit, and the project is expected to generate approximately 490 million units (MU) of clean energy annually, the company said in a statement.
This is sufficient to power nearly 4.6 lakh households across India each year, while enabling an estimated reduction of 0.4 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually, it added.
Resolven, an EQT-backed clean energy power producer, said the project will be developed through Resolven’s subsidiary Ganeko Three Energy Private Limited.
Parag Sharma, CEO, said in the statement, “Signing this PPA with SECI marks a meaningful step forward in strengthening our wind portfolio and advancing our vision of becoming a diversified, multi-technology renewable energy platform.” With over 2.5 GWp under construction capacity and a tied-up capacity reaching 1.8 GWp, the company has developed the execution muscle to deliver a balanced and future-ready energy mix at scale.
Resolven is a next-generation vertically integrated, multi-technology Indian renewable energy platform with a 5.5 GWp pipeline and a strategic ambition to deliver 10 GWp of high-quality renewable assets by 2030. PTI KKS HVA
