New Delhi: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Sunday said countries like India will provide solutions for global pandemics. Speaking at a teleconference with south and central Asian journalists, Pompeo praised democracies around the world, and said they would come out of this “in a way that is far better than those nations that rely on authoritarian power.”
Pompeo spoke about US’s position as leader in this pandemic, while taking care to highlight India’s help and contributions as well. He also touched upon topics like WHO funding and the Indo-Pacific.
