Bangkok University, one of Thailand’s oldest and largest private universities, has confirmed its participation in the 10th Annual International Career and College Counseling (IC3) Conference and Expo, scheduled for 19 and 20 August 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The university’s team will also conduct school visits across the city on 21 August.

Now marking a decade, the IC3 Conference and Expo has established itself as one of the foremost global gatherings for school counseling professionals. Since its founding, the IC3 Movement has engaged more than 6,615 schools and 912 universities across 104 countries, collectively impacting over 3.3 million students. The 10th edition carries the theme “Looking Deeply: From Information to Insight” — a call for educators, counselors, and institutions to move students from passive information-gathering toward genuine, purpose-driven decision-making. It brings together school founders, principals, counselors, parents, and students from over 60 countries, making it one of the most concentrated gatherings of education stakeholders on the calendar.

It is precisely this environment that makes the IC3 Conference a meaningful forum for Bangkok University. As interest in study in Thailand for Indian students continues to grow, the university sees this as an opportunity to be present in a setting where the conversations that shape study-abroad decisions are already happening. Rather than reaching students through collateral alone, Bangkok University’s participation places its representatives directly in conversation with the counselors and families who are actively guiding those choices.

That access extends beyond the conference floor. School visits on 21 August will take the university’s team into Mumbai school communities, creating a more direct channel for students and parents who want to understand what studying at Bangkok University actually involves before they make a decision.

“Bangkok University has always believed that education finds its truest purpose when students are prepared not just for examinations, but for life and careers. Bringing that conversation to India, at a gathering of this scale, feels like the right moment. We look forward to meeting students, parents and counselors in Mumbai,” said Dr. Lugkana Worasinchai Vice President, Business Development Division, Bangkok University.

Founded in 1962, Bangkok University is recognised as Thailand’s leading Creative University and currently offers 12 internationally oriented programmes across Business Administration, Computer Science, Culinary Arts and Design, and International Tourism and Hospitality Management. With a campus spanning 265,000 square metres and students from over 50 countries, the university is built around a learning philosophy that integrates industry experience, practical skill-building, and international academic partnerships with institutions across Switzerland, England, Australia and Taiwan. For Indian students considering where to study in Bangkok, the IC3 Conference presents a direct opportunity to engage with the institution’s representatives and explore what that choice can mean for their academic and professional future.

Bangkok University’s exhibition booth will be active across both conference days at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
