Ruhi Tewari is working as an Associate Editor for ThePrint. She is an economics graduate from Hindu College, Delhi University with a post-graduate diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism. She began her career in 2007 and worked with the Indian Express and Mint. Her areas of specialisation include politics - particularly the Congress and Left parties, and policy spheres like rural affairs, Aadhaar and other welfare mechanisms of the government. Ruhi has worked in Kathmandu for a year, writing a weekly column for English daily Republica as well as working as a research analyst with various organisations. She has also edited a book on Nepal - The Landscape of Madhes: Politics, Society & Economy of the Plains - as well as written a chapter in it.
