Yunus inviting China to Bangladesh’s sea-facing ‘backyard,’ saying India’s landlocked ‘seven sisters’ can’t reach out, is so tone deaf, you’d suspect senility. His generals should teach him geopolitics 101. Bangladesh is also almost fully encircled by India. Trust and cooperation are imperative for neighbours. Dump big brother or uncle fantasies.

PM Modi’s visit to RSS HQ re-affirms Sangh’s indispensability to BJP. It’s timed well with Trump tariff

PM Modi’s visit to RSS headquarters repairs Sangh-BJP umbilical cord strained by BJP’s perceived arrogance. It re-affirms Sangh’s indispensability to BJP. Modi’s outreach is also well-timed as his response to Trump’s tariff pressure can be contrary to the Sangh’s old Thengadi-Upadhyaya doctrine. Good time for shishya and guru to talk.

Trump has become a real-life Bond supervillain. He’s threatening friends and foes with bombings

Trump promised to end wars, but threatens to unleash many, on friend or foe, with bombings and annexation. He’s becoming a real-life Ernst Blofeld, the Bond supervillain and megalomaniac. That Hamas survives despite Gaza being bombed to rubble shows the limits of military power. Trump is becoming a global peril.

  1. It feels great to see The Print’s outrage and impotent rage at President Trump’s actions. The hurt sentiments, the deep seated insecurity and the desperate attention seeking behaviour amuses the readers.
Keep at it Mr. Gupta and Company.
    We are loving it!

  2. Bombing Iran’s nuclear sites, either directly or through Israel, would be the ultimate folly. It would set the region alight.

  3. The biggest peace deal President Trump needs to make is over Ukraine. Going to Moscow over the heads of Europe and Ukraine is not working. A changed approach is necessary. In the process, NATO has been diminished.
