  1. How shameful! Even a respected media platform like The Print is peddling fake news.
Mr. Elon Musk was appointed as a special employee of the federal government. As such, he could only serve for 130 days in a year. His tenure is about to end and therefore he has announced it on social media platforms.
Yes, he does have serious reservations regarding President Trump’s “big and beautiful” tax bill. But then again, he disagrees with Mr. Trump on a host of issues.
To make it look like Trump has forced Elon to resign is the height of mischief.
    Shame on The Print!

  2. A $ 6 trillion federal government budget certainly offers flab that can be cut, avoiding muscle. However, the initial approach of DOGE was almost nihilistic. The same exercise should be carried forward more scientifically, systematically. America’s public debt, all stakeholders agree, is on an unsustainable path. It will have to pay higher rates of interest in future.
