India and China restarting direct flights from October end is a welcome sign of cautious normalisation, and a forward step. However, true stability cannot come from connectivity alone. Unless Beijing shows sincerity in resolving the border crisis it created, ties will remain fragile. LAC remains the real test of maturity.
