EAM S Jaishankar’s firm defence of India-Russia ties underscores New Delhi’s refusal to abandon a trusted partner under external pressure. His rebuttal to Trump’s false claims on oil imports is factual. It is crystal clear that Russian oil is just a ruse and Trump’s real frustration with India lies elsewhere.

Betting must be legalised in India. It will generate revenue & counter terrorism

There’s a word for ‘online real money gaming’—betting. Even as Parliament has passed a bill to ban online gaming, betting must be legalised. Surrogates such as F&O trading exist and flourish. FIR against Siddharth Varadarajan & others is misuse of power. Not everything is a conspiracy

Authorities across states must stay away from misusing power as they indiscriminately file FIRs against people such as Siddharth Varadarajan, Karan Thapar and Sanjay Kumar. 1. Siddharth Varadarajan and Karan Thapar are repeat offenders. They have maintained a sustained anti-India and anti-Hindu rhetoric all through and their journalism is simply about peddling a narrative – one manufactured by their ideological masters holding distinguished academic position in leading Western universities.
There are quite a few from the same cabal working at The Print itself (e.g. Shailaja Bajpai, Rama Lakshmi, etc.). No wonder The Print is so aggrieved at the FIRs against Siddharth and Karan.
