Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar chided IPS Anjana Krishna at the insistence of his party workers in what can only be called intimidation. She was inquiring about alleged illegal excavation of soil. In doing so, she was literally doing her job. Politicians have to facilitate the administration’s work, not obstruct.
