As national media is busy covering only Delhi, UP & Bihar, there are states like Andhra which go completely unnoticed. A lot is happening in AP which is no where covered in the national news channels. Of late there are some opposition party leaders and supporters getting arrested for their actions when YSRCP was in power. During that period there were many TDP leaders who were beaten, taken into custody in the midnight and tortured. Even a political stalwart like N Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and kept in Jail for 54 days which sent shockwaves in the entire political fraternity.
In 2024, when TDP came to power, there was a resolve to take revenge for what happened during the YSRCP ruling. With so many scams pending for judgement against Y S Jagan, supporters of TDP felt all these cases will be fast tracked and he will be sentenced to jail for all his alleged scams which were pending from more than a decade. But even after 1 year of NDA rule, there is yet no progress in his cases. But TDP supporters are underestimating the political Chanakya in CBN. He knows that arresting Jagan would create law & order trouble in the state and can also get him a lot of sympathy wave which is a negative blow to the TDP.
Like in Chess game, King is never eliminated in the first step, he is only checkmated. But when all the pawns are there on the board, it is nearly impossible to checkmate the king. So, the opposite player first eliminates the pawns and then reaches the king. Once the supporting pieces are eliminated, King by default is checkmated. As king alone cannot take any drastic steps without the help of its coterie.
Most of the popular & vocal leaders of YSRCP were arrested in the recent past which didn’t create any law & order issues in the state. Post getting released on bail, they went completely silent and are almost out of politics.
Don’t risk catching the big fish, eliminate the smaller ones.
