We are not “Hindu”, but “Sanatan“; we are not “Hindustani, but “Bhartiya“. Therefore, our national language should also not be named “Hindi“. As, the national language of England is named ‘English’; similarly, the national language of Bharat should also be named and called “Bhartiya“.
Dear citizens of India! It is a well-known and universally accepted truth that the name of India’s oldest religion is “Sanatan“: not “Hindu“. Similarly, the ancient name of our country is “Bharat“: not “Hind” or “Hindustan“.
The Foreign invaders gave the name “Hindu” to our religion and “Hindustan” name to our country. Due to rule of foreign invaders for centuries on India; both these “Hindu” and “Hindustan” names became popular and famous everywhere. We Indians also started using these names considering them correct; which is a sign of slavery. Hence, to call our national language “Hindi”: is inappropriate.
When we are not “Hindu”, but “Sanatani”; we are not “Hindustani” but “Bhartiya”; therefore, our national language cannot be “Hindi“. The name of national language of “citizens of Bharat” (Indian citizens) should be ‘Bharatiya”: not Hindi, because we identify ourselves as Bhartiya. For example, the national language of Japan is called ‘Japanese’, the national language of Russia is ‘Russian’ and the national language of Arabia is ‘Arabic’; similarly, the name of the national language of Bharat (India) should also be ‘Bhartiya’.
“Hindi” can be the language of Hindustan, not of Bharat. When the original name of our country is not ‘Hindustan’: then we are also not ‘Hindustani’; we are Bhartiya. Just as the foreigners named us “Hindu” and our country “Hindustan”, in the same way they named our language “Hindi”. Whatever derogatory names were given to us by the foreign invaders (due to lack of self-respect in us), we Indians, acquired those names.
Today, we Indians are independent. Therefore, we should discard these names given by foreigners. All Indians should come together to form a new “Bhartiya” language, which includes words from all Indian languages which were originated from India. (“Indian originated Language” means: languages of which: vocabulary and script originated from India; such as: Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu and Oriya etc.). Many words of all Indian languages are already similar to each other, such as: Daya, Dharam, Karuna, Guru, Nagar, Shastar etc. Therefore, there will be no problem in creating a new language by integrating the words of all Indian languages. With this bold step, this new Bhartiya language will resolve most linguistic conflicts, problems and promote unity. The Central Government should name that newly created language as “Bhartiya“; and declare it as National Language of Bharat (India). When this newly created Bhartiya language will be accepted in all states; then we can get rid of colonial English, which is sign of slavery. Due to acceptance by all states and people of India; all court proceeding and government correspondence etc. will begin in new “Bhartiya” language without any hindrance.
By creating new language from the mixture of all India originated languages; the conflicts between Tamil, Kannada, Oriya, Malayalam etc. with Hindi will be completely eliminated. Because, the words from southern languages will become integrated part of newly created “Bhartiya” language.
“Bharat” country and “Bhartiya” language: By using these two names, we citizens of Bharat will have self-respect and unity. Then, India will progress through unity. This new “Bhartiya” language, comprising words from all India originated languages; will be very helpful in progress of the nation. Therefore, Bharat must create and adopt new “Bharatiya” language. Creating and adopting a new “Bhartiya” language will be a significant step towards making Bharat “Vishav Guru”.
Special: Nowadays, many words from Urdu and Persian have been incorporated into the “Hindi” language, which has caused “Hindi” in its pure form to no longer remain a “Bharatiya” language. Therefore, we should abandon the “Hindi” language and create a new “Bharatiya” language. Jai Bharat.
