New Delhi: The UK Government’s Chevening Scholarships program is now open for applications. Individuals from diverse backgrounds can apply for the scholarships through the official website www.chevening.org/apply. The last date for applications is November 5, 2024, a UK government press release stated.
The Chevening Scholarships are awarded to students who have the potential to become future leaders, decision-makers, and opinion formers. The program offers full financial support to the scholars to pursue their studies in any eligible master’s degree program in the UK. The students are also given access to various exclusive academic, professional, and cultural experiences.
Since the Chevening Scholarship program began in 1983, over 57,000 professionals have pursued their studies in the UK with the help of the Chevening Scholarship. The scholarships are funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organizations. This year, approximately 1,500 awards are available globally.
