SEOUL, April 13 (Reuters) – South Korean President Lee Jae Myung met Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Monday and the leaders agreed to elevate the countries’ bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership, South Korean media reported.

Lee said they would further expand defence industry cooperation under a $44.2 billion framework pact signed in 2022 and coordinate to launch direct flights between the countries.

They also agreed to step up cooperation in areas including energy, infrastructure, science and technology, and advanced industries, according to the local media reports.
