MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum sent two proposals to Congress to reform electoral laws and implement a sweeping reform of the judiciary, her government said in a statement on Monday.

Congress passed the constitutional reform, which stipulates that all judges be elected by popular vote over the next three years, in September.
