MEXICO CITY, March 27 (Reuters) – Mexican authorities have potentially identified more than 40,000 people listed as disappeared by cross-referencing official databases, said Marcela Figueroa, a top official in Mexico’s National Public Security System.

She added that the number is out of a total of about 130,000 people who have been classified as disappeared.
