New Delhi: The horrific rape and murder of a young veterinary doctor in Hyderabad was strongly condemned on Twitter and in Parliament — although not many MPs, men or women have voiced their anger on social media.

Here are a few who did.

Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati called for speedy justice.

Congress’ Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were also visibly outraged.

 

Lt Governor of Puducherry Kiran Bedi took a different route to express her sense of shame — by sharing a cartoon — seems like women in India are safer with bears and lions than with men.

It’s BJP versus Congress once again after industrialist Rahul Bajaj’s remarks on the reluctance of the business community to criticise the government.
