Harry L Taylor III, stage name DJ Rockstar, was born in 1977. His was born in Philadelphia, USA and grew up in the Hill Creek housing project, finishing his high school at Northeast High School. He had two younger brothers but tragically lost both his siblings as well as his parents at a very young age. He is now the father of two kids.
He is said to be a 45-year-old self-made man. All the merit goes to his skill and hard work that brought him to where he today. Fun fact, DJ Rockstar, also known as Harry L Taylor III is a law officer during the day and an experienced DJ by night and the weekend!
He initially began his profession as a disc jockey in pubs and bars, when he was only 18, a teenager! He then enlisted in the law forces and became a law officer at the age of 20. He has since then worked in the 16th and 8th districts. His career as a law officer also included a period when he served as the community relations officer in the 8th district. He wishes to work for a few more years in the law force and hopes that his DJ gigs can continue permanently.
He has performed on stage in many important arenas on tour. He has also appeared in the first season of the ‘Apprentice’ and did a role in the movie ‘ Invincible ‘. Moreover, he has also done a commercial for the Brystol Myers pharmaceutical company.
Currently, he has more than 131k followers on Instagram and 115k followers on Facebook. He also has a good amount of supporters on Tiktok and Youtube.
DJ Rockstar has teamed up and collaborated with Joe Zangie and Rockell. Their trio team is known for their hits like “In a dream”, “I’ll be loving you”, “Can’t we try”, “Mad About You” and many other songs. He has also worked together with many stars including Joey Fotone, Blondie, Tiesto, Dj Snake, Big Sean, Justina Valentine from Mtv Wild n Out and the Jersey Shore cast.
DJ Rockstar is also one of the fellows of the Senate DJs. It is a community of elite DJs from several states of the USA, such as New York, Florida, and New Jersey. Being a member of this prestigious group facilitates him to execute and perform shows internationally without any hurdle.
He is currently under the label of ‘Fever Records ‘ and is scheduled to do more concerts soon.
