Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has announced the registration dates for class 10 and 12 board exam 2023. All the students appearing for CBSE Board exam 2023 are required to submit the form by Aug 30, 2022. 

CBSE board exams for the current session will be conducted from Feb 15, 2022. As per the latest notification issued by CBSE, the last date to register for 10th and 12th exam is Aug 30, 2022. The board has directed the school to submit the list of candidates by Aug 31, 2022.

In the notification, CBSE has also stated that there will be no extension in the last date under any circumstances. 

This year, the board will conduct only one examination, unlike that of the previous session.

How to register for CBSE Board Exam 2023?

CBSE board registration process will be done through offline mode. Candidates are required to fill and submit the registration form in their respective school. However, the private candidates are supposed to apply online for the board exam. Below mentioned are the steps to fill CBSE board registration form online:

  • Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in 
  • Click on ‘Online Registration/LOC for Class X/XII 2022-23’ link. 
  • Login with your credentials – user ID and password. 
  • Fill the required details carefully and complete the payment
  • Submit the form and save the receipt generated in pdf format

CBSE Board Exam registration fee

CBSE board registration fee for general candidates is 1500.00 INR for 5 subjects. The application fee for SC/ST category students of class 12 is 1200.00 INR. If any candidate has opted for sixth subject then an additional application fee of 300.00 INR is required to be paid. 

The registration fee for CBSE 10th and 12th examination is the same. Any candidates failing to deposit the registration fee within the stipulated time will be charged a fee of 2000.00 INR as a penalty.
